October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This year finds VA medical centers across the nation looking to appoint an Intimate Partner Violence Coordinator, while we at LAJVAMC are fortunate to already have one.
During the month of October, the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center and all four Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) will be offering drive thru flu shot clinics every Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy Department is offering a curb-side pharmacy drive-thru service. The Pharmacist will process their prescriptions and provide counseling services if requested.
March is a month dedicated to the VA’s tireless and hardworking Social Workers. Throughout the month, Social Work Service will be hosting a series of events to educate Veterans and family on various programs offered.
The new main entrance is open to the public and will operate twenty four hours a day, seven days per week. The main circle will offer three designated lanes for valet/bus, patient drop off and drive through traffic.
