VA Video Connect
Real-time access to VA care in a way that works best for you.
VA Video Connect enables you to conduct visits with your health care provider outside the hospital setting in a location you feel the most comfortable in. (A device with internet, camera and microphone capabilities required).
Some reasons for using VA Video connect are:
- A hands-on physical examinaion is not required.
- You lack time to attend your appointment.
- Health conditions make it difficult to travel.
- You live far away from your VA Facility.
First, download the app: https://mobile.va.gov/app/va-video-connect then follow the following steps:
Step One Test Call: Call the Veterans Health Administration Telehealth Technology Help Desk at
1-866-651-3180.
Step Two: Complete test call with the Veterans Health Administration Telehealth Technology Help Desk
Step Three: Please contact your local Telehealth Technician after you have successfully completed the test call. Please provide the Tech with the email address you plan to utilize for the visit. The Tech will make sure that your email address is placed in the system. The Tech will notify your Provider that the test call has been completed and that you are interested in the services (if applicable).
